I asked Elder Martin what it was about that family in the ward that made him feel at home, he said " the kids are crazy, like us.  The mom kept trying to calm them down, the dad was egging them on and making bad dad jokes.  And the mom kept giving the dad 'the look' when she thought we weren't looking."  Yep, sounds like home.

He said it has been a bit of a stressful week, being in a new area, with a new companion, and learning to be an effective trainer.  He is looking forward to getting to know the new ward, he has been told by other missionaries that it is the best ward!

These pictures were sent to me by another missionary, I'm not sure I want to know...or do I?

I'm going to tell myself this is last week, when they were cleaning out an apartment.  Maybe he was singing " La Cucaracha" as he swept?!
