A Christmas Visit

The Christmas Call.  If I were to be completely honest, which I will be, I was kind of dreading this. I didn't have a lot of confidence in how I was going to react when I saw him.  Lately, everything has made me very emotional.  Once that call came in, the excitement took over and I was fine, it was like having him here.  I didn't even cry...until we ended the connection. It was so great to see and hear our Elder.  He looked great, and sounded like he was having fun and working hard. We are so grateful for him and for all the wonderful people that have come into his life.  We love him and miss him, and maybe I will look forward to Mother's Day with less anxiety.  Maybe.

A note from mom and dad;  We are so very grateful to the wonderful ward members in Santa Clarita. They were so great to send us pictures and messages.  They took amazing care of the missionaries in their ward, Elder Martin loved them and grew very close to them and the families they taught.  Thank you so much.
